I'm Your Man
ON MAX
12noon Sunday December 3, and 3pm Sunday December 17
MAX brings you the Australian premiere of I’m Your Man, his exclusive BBC interview on the eve of his first world tour in fifteen years, 25 Live.
The notoriously private star reveals all to the disarming BBC journo Melvyn Bragg in this intimate chat, dishing on his colourful life in the music business and reveling in his excitement as he prepares to reconnect with fans onstage.
From the conflicts of his private culture and his public persona, his eerie premonitions about media "dictator" Rupert Murdoch to his controversial live indulgence in his favourite vice, the singer musing, "Weed is the only drug I am glad I took … If I'd drunk as much as I'd smoked - my god I'd look like Keith Richards,” nothing is off limits.
With rare and exclusive access to the whirlwind of backstage preparations and lots of intensely personal insights like, "Led Zeppelin are my favourite rock group of all time - they sound like they know how to have sex," this is a rare chance for fans to know the man behind the music.
