Elton John has today announced the Australian tour dates of his three-year long Farewell Yellow Brick Road world tour.
The music legend will say goodbye to his fans Down Under with arena and winery shows between this November through to January in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Hunter Valley, Mount Cotton, Bathurst, Hanging Rock, Rutherglen and Yarra Valley.
“I always love coming back to Australia,” John said.
“Ever since my first visit in 1971 it has held a very special place in my heart.”
Revered Australian promoter, Michael Chugg, said of the tour, “Elton’s continuing love affair with Australia knows no bounds, proven by this farewell tour, and the breadth and depth of the itinerary, showing his commitment to his many Australian fans.
“On his very last tour, he wanted to return to some of his favourite cities, while also playing for fans in a couple of never-before-visited locations.”
General public tickets to all capital city shows go on sale from 9am local time on Thursday 14 February, while all other dates go on sale the same time the next day (Friday 15 February).
