It’s A Battle Between The Boss & The Queen Of Pop For #1 On This Week’s ARIA Albums Chart

It’s a huge showdown for the top spot on this week’s ARIA Albums Chart with Madonna and Bruce Springsteen competing for the #1 album. 

Both Madonna’s Madame X and Springsteen’s Western Stars are expected to debut in the top three according to mid-week figures. 

If Madonna takes out the top spot, she will be tied for the record of artist with the most #1 albums on the ARIA Albums Chart alongside Jimmy Barnes, who picked up the accolade only weeks ago

Springsteen’s album picked up a four-star review from The Music, with the work being dubbed “is another incredible chapter in the career of Springsteen”. 

Meanwhile, Australian singer-songwriter Hayden James is looking to crack the top 10 with his debut album, Between Us, as Bastille’s Doom Days and BaronessGold And Grey are primed to hit the top 15 and top 40, respectively.

Over on the Singles chart, Taylor Swift is vying for #1 with You Need To Calm Down, while new music from Drake and Rick Ross, Blanco Brown and Joji is also expected to debut.
