US actor and comedian Nick Offerman has announced he will head to Australia this year with his brand new live show, All Rise.
The Parks & Recreation star will kick off the tour in Adelaide this June, before moving on to perform in Perth, Melbourne, Canberra, Hobart, Sydney and Brisbane.
“My aim in this undertaking is to encourage my fellow Homo Sapiens to aim higher in life than the channels of consumerism would have us imagine,” Offerman said of All Rise.
“It’s a proper revival suggesting the existence of a higher power in the land than commerce, one that will cause you to pop, lock and rejoice!
“Come on down and hear the good news that will make you go jingle-jangle in your juice box.”
Back in 2016, Offerman was initially scheduled to tour Australia with fellow comedian and wife Megan Mullally, however the Will & Grace actress eventually pulled out of the tour.
However, Mullally is also set to tour the country in June with her band, Nancy & Beth; click here for more details.
General public tickets for Offerman’s tour go on sale from 2pm on Thursday 7 February.
