Aussie Music Mondays
You may not be able to see your favourite acts playing at your local, or taking over stadiums at the moment, but Foxtel’s music channels are making sure you get your fill of Aussie artists.
[V], MAX and CMC will be broadcasting all Aussie music on Mondays from 9am, starting 6 April. This is a show of solidarity and support of the Australia music community who are doing it tough during this unprecedented crisis. The channels are proud to be partnering with Support Act, a music industry charity that provides crisis relief to thousands of artists, roadies and other industry professionals, in their support of Sound Of Silence.
Wondering which channel to switch to?
For decades [V] has prided itself in discovered the superstars of tomorrow by supporting new and emerging artists from around the country. Think of acts like 5 Seconds of Summer, Delta Goodrem, The Veronicas and Tones and I, who have all been championed by [V] over the years. CMC is Australia’s only TV destination for country music and will be celebrating with country music legends Lee Kernaghan, Adam Brand and The McClymonts. They’ve also got a soft spot for Morgan Evans, who started on the channel as a presenter and is now enjoying success on the international stage. For your country fix, channel 815 is what you need.
For iconic anthems to modern classics, MAX is the soundtrack to your life. Their playlist is filled with the greatest hits from the 70s to the 00s. The catalogue of Aussie artists includes some exclusive Studio MAX performances from icons like Jimmy Barnes. Channel 805 is your one stop shop for legendary hits.
